Terms and Conditions
1. Agreement for Repair
1.1 The terms outlined in these Conditions of Repair (“Agreement”) apply to the repair services (“Service”) provided by Phone Repair Centre for smartphones, tablets, computers, and other electronic devices (“Device”) as listed on the service check-in form.
1.2 References to “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Phone Repair Centre, while “you” and “your” refer to you, the customer (“Customer”), named on this form.
2. All Repairs (Unless Otherwise Stated)
2.1 This Agreement starts from the date you sign the service check-in form and lasts until we have repaired or otherwise returned your Device, or have received all payments due.
2.2 We will make reasonable efforts to repair your Device, subject to part availability and relevant warranties. Our technicians will handle your Device with the utmost care and skill.
2.3 Phone Repair Centre offers high-quality after-market and OEM (genuine) parts where available for device repairs.
2.4 Any completion time provided is an estimate only. We aim to return your Device promptly; however, some complex repairs, such as board-level repairs, may take longer.
2.5 If we cannot complete the Service or if additional costs are required, we will notify you by phone or email. Should you decline the revised estimate, the Device will be returned unrepaired, and a diagnostic fee may apply.
2.6 Diagnostics are a non-refundable, chargeable service.
2.7 Any device left uncollected after 60 days will be considered abandoned and disposed of accordingly. Uncollected devices may incur additional storage or delivery fees if transferred to our central storage facility.
2.8 Phone Repair Centre reserves the right to retain your Device until all fees have been paid in full.
2.9 Use of our repair services may void the manufacturer’s warranty on your Device. For repairs covered by your manufacturer’s warranty, please consider contacting the manufacturer directly.
2.10 All repairs performed by Phone Repair Centre include warranty seals. Any tampering with these seals will void the warranty on the repaired parts.
2.11 Our warranty covers parts and workmanship for repaired issues only and excludes accidental damage, liquid damage, or damage unrelated to the original repair.
3. Warranty
3.1 The warranty covers only the specific part or issue initially repaired. New or unrelated issues are not covered.
3.2 The warranty is linked to the Device’s unique IMEI or serial number and is non-transferable.
3.3 Our warranty coverage does not extend to customers outside Australia. Warranty repairs do not cover shipping, postage, or courier costs.
3.4 Devices with prior repairs or liquid damage may have complications beyond our control. We are not liable for any issues that arise due to prior repair attempts or liquid damage.
3.5 For liquid-damaged Devices, issues may emerge after treatment, for which we are not responsible. Customers are advised to monitor such Devices post-repair.
4. Liability
4.1 Phone Repair Centre’s liability is limited to re-supplying the repair Service, refunding the cost of the Service, or providing a refurbished replacement Device of equivalent value if the Device is deemed irreparably damaged due to our service.
4.2 We are not responsible for data loss during repairs. Customers should back up all important data before the repair.
4.3 Phone Repair Centre will notify you immediately if a Device is lost or damaged while in our possession. We will work to provide a replacement device or a similar model if necessary.
4.4 Phone Repair Centre is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, profits, or any accessories or additional items.
5. Data Protection
5.1 Your personal information is collected to notify you of repair progress, completion, and any after-sales service. For marketing communications, you must opt-in to receive emails or text messages. More information can be found in our Privacy Policy.
6. General
6.1 Phone Repair Centre is not liable for delays or failures beyond our reasonable control.
6.2 This Agreement represents the entire agreement between you and Phone Repair Centre and supersedes any prior agreements.
6.3 If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable, it shall not affect the remaining terms.
6.4 This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
7. Refurbished Devices
7.1 For purchases of refurbished devices from Phone Repair Centre, customers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period. During this time, you may return the device in its original condition for any reason.
7.2 Refurbished devices come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturer faults. If a fault arises within this period, Phone Repair Centre will either replace the device or provide a refund, depending on availability. The warranty remains valid for 12 months from the date of the original purchase.
7.3 Purchases made online must be returned through our online return process, while in-store purchases should be returned to the original store.
8. Packaging and Courier Service
8.1 For devices sent to us via courier for repair, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the device is securely packaged before dispatch. We will provide packaging for the return journey but are not liable for any damage incurred during shipping to us.
8.2 If a refund is requested, Phone Repair Centre reserves the right to reverse any completed repairs. Parts removed during this process will not be returned to the customer, but we will replace them with parts in similar condition.
9. Promotional Discounts
9.1 Only one promotional discount can be applied per transaction. All valid discounts must be applied at the point of sale and cannot be combined with other offers.
9.2 Management reserves the right to approve or deny the application of any discount at their discretion.
10. Central Workshop Repairs
10.1 For complex repairs requiring our central workshop, such as component-level repairs on a logic board, we cannot guarantee a fix. Due to the intricate nature of these repairs, there is a possibility that the Device may become non-repairable.
10.2 In cases where the Device is deemed beyond economical repair (BER) during central workshop service, we will refund all payments made for that specific repair. Warranty on central workshop repairs is limited to one month from the repair date and covers only the original issue addressed.
11. Inspection and Collection
11.1 Upon completion of repairs, customers must inspect their device before accepting it as repaired. If any issues or questions arise, they should be addressed with our staff immediately.
11.2 Customers acknowledge that the Device should be collected promptly after notification of repair completion. Devices left uncollected after 60 days will incur storage fees and may be considered abandoned.
12. Liability Limitation
12.1 Phone Repair Centre’s entire liability related to this Agreement is limited to the options of re-supplying the Service, refunding the Service cost, or replacing the Device with an equivalent refurbished model in cases of total Device loss or damage during repair.
12.2 Phone Repair Centre will not be liable for:
- Loss of data or any indirect, special, or consequential losses.
- Any progression in damage for Devices repaired elsewhere prior to repair by Phone Repair Centre or Devices damaged by liquid.
Any travel, postage, or courier costs incurred by the customer.
12.3 Customers are advised to back up all data on their Device before proceeding with any repair as Phone Repair Centre assumes no responsibility for data loss.
12.4 In case of Device theft or loss while in our possession, we will offer a replacement device with a similar model and specification within a reasonable period.
13. Final Provisions
13.1 This Agreement, including all sections and provisions, represents the full agreement between Phone Repair Centre and the Customer, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
13.2 Phone Repair Centre reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will be effective upon posting.
13.3 These Terms and Conditions are governed by Australian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.

By signing the Service Consent form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge your responsibility to inspect your Device at the point of collection and to promptly raise any concerns with our team.
